Our Specialties
Slow-braised beef birria in a rich spiced consommé. Crispy corn tortilla, melted cheese, onion, cilantro. Served with dipping broth.
Marinated beef grilled on an open comal, sliced to order. Handmade corn tortilla, onion, cilantro, and our house red salsa.

Our Story
Las Palmitas Taco Shop has been a cornerstone of El Centro's food scene for over a decade. What started as a family passion for authentic Mexican cooking has grown into one of the most beloved taco shops in the Imperial Valley.
Every morning, we prepare our salsas, marinate our meats, and grind our spices fresh — just like the recipes handed down through generations. No shortcuts, no compromise. Just real food made with care.
